Synap Editor 3.4.0

Released: 2026. 7. 7

Synap Editor 3.4.0 has been released with DOCX export, comment-icon navigation, mid-paragraph input actions, a new AI API, and AI model changes.

Highlights

1. DOCX export

Synap Editor 3.4.0 adds support for exporting documents to Word (DOCX) format. Export quality was reviewed across the board so that key elements — shapes, images, and numbering — convert more faithfully to the original.

  • Shapes — fixed display of some preset shapes; improved export of custom shapes, gradients, and grouped shapes
  • Layout — more accurate paragraph spacing and shape positioning
  • Numbering & images — corrected multi-level numbering and bullets, and fixed image overlap issues

2. Jump to a comment via its icon

When you add a comment, an icon appears at that location in the document body. Click the icon and the comment panel jumps to the matching comment, making it easy to move between the document content and its comments.

3. User-defined input action works mid-paragraph

User-defined input actions now trigger not only at the start of a paragraph but also when the cursor is in the middle of a paragraph, improving usability.

4. New API: getBodyModelJSONForAI()
