Synap Editor 3.2.0

Released: 2025. 5. 30

Synap Editor 3.2.0 has been released with table of contents insertion and per-side object border editing.

Highlights

1. Insert table of contents

Extract headings (H1H6) from the document and insert a TOC at the chosen location. Items are organized by heading hierarchy (H1 > H2 > H3 ...) so readers can grasp the structure and navigate quickly.

2. Per-side border editing for objects

Images, videos, layers, and tables can now have independent borders on each of their four sides. Edit per-side borders from the detail properties dialog:

  • On the left, set border style, thickness, and color
  • On the right, choose which side(s) to apply to
  • Click OK to apply

Default style — When top/bottom/left/right all share the same [style | thickness | color], those become the default. If any side differs (or nothing is set), the default fields stay blank.

Preview — Selecting a side in the dialog renders a preview of the configured border on that side. Click OK to apply.

3. Improved display of cropped images

When importing Word or HWP documents, images with crop applied now display only the cropped region. Image selection handles are also based on the cropped region.

4. Popup repositioning option

If a popup opens outside the visible area, you can now choose to reposition it instantly (without animation).

  • Before: popups outside the viewport animate into a corrected position.
  • After: popups open directly at the corrected position without animation.
